WHAT IS “EL CENTRO”?

El Centro Comunitario de Educación was founded in 2005 and has since been growing and evolving to meet the needs of its community.

Through the availability of free English and citizenship classes, we hope to empower immigrants to play an active role in their community.

We have a living curriculum, and our teachers create lessons specific to their individual students' needs.  We pride ourselves on teaching what our students can benefit most from, whatever that may be - regular conversational English, formal interview skills, vocabulary for around the house, the classroom, or school.
