Esther Lim (Web page Manager)
This year, Esther will be a senior in high school taking AP Spanish. She loves everything about the Spanish culture from music to history to films. She loves being an activist for social change working with various organizations and being the founder of her own podcast, Conversations for Change. She loves conversing with people and can't wait to have them at El Centro this summer!
Este año, Esther será estudiante de último año en la escuela secundaria y tomará Español AP. Le encanta todo lo relacionado con la cultura española, desde la música hasta la historia y las películas. Le encanta ser activista por el cambio social, trabajar con varias organizaciones y ser la fundadora de su propio podcast, Conversations for Change. ¡Le encanta conversar con la gente y no puede esperar para tenerlos en El Centro este verano!
RIDDHI JAIN (WEB PAGE MANAGER)
Este otoño, Riddhi será estudiante de último año en Syosset High School. Le gusta estudiar español y tomará español AP este próximo año escolar. Riddhi está interesada en la sustentabilidad y la ciencia ambiental, ya que para ella es importante tener un impacto positivo en nuestro planeta. En la universidad, planea especializarse en Administración de Empresas. ¡Ella no puede esperar para ayudar a enseñar a los niños y, con suerte, tener un impacto en sus vidas educativas!
This fall, Riddhi will be a senior at Syosset High School. She enjoys studying Spanish and will be taking AP Spanish this coming school year. Riddhi is interested in sustainability and environmental science as making a positive impact on our planet is important to her. In college, she is planning on majoring in Business Management. She cannot wait to help teach kids and hopefully make an impact on their educational lives!
Francesca Vetrano

This fall, Francesca Vetrano will be entering her senior year at Syosset High School. She loves Spanish language and culture, and this upcoming school year she will be taking SUPA Spanish as well as business and music classes. She loves nature and on her free time plants, listens to music and enjoys hanging out with friends. She is excited to embrace her experience at El Centro.
Este otoño, Francesca Vetrano empezará a su último año en Syosset High School. Ella encanta el idioma español y la cultura hispana y este próximo año escolar tomará SUPA español, y también clases de negocios y música. Le encanta la naturaleza y en su tiempo libre planta, escucha música y disfruta salir con amigos. Está emocionada de abrazar su experiencia en El Centro.
ANUJ MOTWANI (social media manager)
The upcoming semester, Anuj is a senior at Syosset HS, taking SUPA Spanish. He enjoys taking business classes (Spanish no less!) and is an officer for the Entrepreneurship Club. He wants to major in business and obtain an MBA eventually. In his free time, he likes to travel, read, and take long walks in nature. Anuj is looking forwards to teaching in this program!
El próximo semestre, Anuj será estudiante de último año en Syosset HS, tomando SUPA Español. Le gusta tomar clases de negocios (¡español no menos!) y es oficial del Club de Emprendimiento. Él quiere especializarse en negocios y obtener un MBA eventualmente. En su tiempo libre, le gusta viajar, leer y dar largos paseos en la naturaleza. ¡Anuj está deseando enseñar en este programa!
Praggya Shankar
This fall, Praggya will enter her final year of high school and take AP Spanish. She wants to enter international affairs and enjoys competitive clubs like Mock Trial and Model United Nations. During her free time, she loves reading, watching TV, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to meeting everyone and helping them with their English this summer!
Este otoño, Praggya ingresará a su último año de escuela secundaria y tomará Español AP. Quiere participar en asuntos internacionales y disfruta de clubes competitivos como Mock Trial y Model United Nations. Durante su tiempo libre, le encanta leer, mirar televisión, hornear y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. ¡Ella espera conocer a todos y ayudarlos con su inglés este verano!
NICOLE CHRISTY
This fall, Nicole will begin her senior year at Syosset High School and is looking forward to taking AP Spanish. In addition to learning about Spanish language and culture, she also enjoys playing many types of music, running, and hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. She is very excited to teach at El Centro this summer!
Este otoño, Nicole empezará su ultimo año escolar en Syosset High School, y está emocionada por tomar AP Spanish. Además de aprender el idioma y su cultura, también le gusta tocar música, correr y espera seguir una carrera en el campo de la medicina. ¡Está muy emocionada de enseñar en El Centro este verano!
STANLEY ZHENG(social media manager)
This September, Stanley will be a Senior at Syosset HS, where he enjoys Spanish very much and is planning to take AP Spanish. He wants to be a lawyer, but isn't sure what he wants to major in yet. During his free time, you can find him biking, camping, and playing the occasional videogame. Stanley really likes the idea of this program and can't wait to start teaching!
Este septiembre, Stanley será Senior en Syosset HS, donde disfruta mucho del español y planea tomar AP Spanish. El quiere ser abogado, pero no está seguro de lo que quiere especializarse todavía. Durante su tiempo libre, puedes encontrarlo en bicicleta, acampando y jugando el videojuego ocasional. ¡Realmente le gusta la idea de este programa y no puede esperar para empezar a enseñar!
Benjamen Hanell (Fundraising campaign manager/ treasurer)
This fall, Ben will begin his final year of high school where his favorite subject is Spanish. He is interested in politics and enjoys competing in Forensics Speech and Debate. He is looking to major in political science in college and then go to law school. He is very excited to be a teacher in this excellent program.
Este otoño, Ben comenzará su último año de la secundaria donde su materia favorita es el español. Le interesa la política y le gusta competir en Discurso y Debate Forense. Quiere especializarse en ciencias políticas en la universidad y luego ir a la facultad de derecho. Está muy emocionado de ser maestro en este programa excelente.
Gabrielle Vetrano
This upcoming school year, Gabrielle will be entering senior year at Syosset High School and will be taking a SUPA Spanish class. Aside from partaking in Spanish culture and language she is very busy with hobbies and clubs. At the moment she has a band with friends where she plays drums and sings, art and music are her favorite pastimes. Gabrielle can’t wait to work with everyone at El Centro!
Este próximo año escolar, Gabrielle ingresará al último año en Syosset High School y tomará una clase de español SUPA. Además de participar en la cultura y el idioma español, está muy ocupada con pasatiempos y clubes. Scout Chen
This next school year, Scout will be a senior at Syosset High School and will be taking AP Spanish Language. He enjoys playing music on his guitar and taking photographs with his camera. He loves teaching others and is interested in the Spanish language. He is very excited to be a teacher at this program this summer!
